About Ben Angle

I have been a certified athletic trainer (The guy who runs out on the field when someone gets hurt) for over 7 years. Health, wellness, and fitness has always been important to me but after spending 2 years as a Graduate Assistant athletic trainer at Ole Miss and working closely with the strength staff , it became a passion of mine. I began coaching HIIT and Lift, while picking the brain of some good friends who are experts in the collegiate strength and conditioning scene. I have not stopped coaching since, I love it!

Athletic Background

I played baseball my whole life. After my baseball career was over, I began playing slow-pitch softball and flag football and still do today! I also enjoy pickup basketball.

Turning Point

When I graduated high school I weighed 170 pounds. After spending 4 years in college on a meal plan, I weighed 205 and was not lean at all. I began focusing on my eating, specifically low carb styles and leaned back down to 185. After that, I decided I wanted to get strong, that is where I found what made me happy in the gym! Hitting PRs is the best feeling you can have in the gym.

Passion

I am passionate about impacting people’s lives for the better. This profession allows me to do that on a daily basis.
Coaching a class and motivating others to achieve PRs as well so that they can experience that awesome feeling is what drives me.

Motivation

I could not do my job and be unhealthy. It is very important that I look the part and live the part or I am a hypocrite. I also want to stay active and in shape so that I can always do any activity that my family wants me to do. Also, want to be able to beat my kids 1 on 1 in bball when I am 50 haha.
